Consumers can feel intimidated. Plumbers can be flaky or even unscrupulous. You Pick the Plumber levels the playing field for both consumers and plumbers. For customers, the main benefit of YPTP is getting a qualified, licensed and bonded contractor. With YPTP you always get the best price, because our plumbers know the bidding process is open. Perhaps more important, plumbers bid based solely on the information you provide about the job. Because the bidding is done online, bidders do not see your neighborhood, your house, your age or your sex. Sad to say, some contractors have been known to up-charge customers based on demographic information that has nothing to do with the work to be performed. YPTP eliminates that possibility. The primary difference is that YPTP is a free online referral service. There is no advertising on our site. All plumber listings are on the same level. All plumber partners have an equal opportunity to bid on business within their geographic area. There is no preferential treatment for ''advertisers'' vs. ''listing only'' plumbers. The benefit to you, the customer, is that you can contract with confidence. The bids you receive are based solely on the information you provide. This means that the companies submitting bids want your business and are willing to compete to get it. Anyone in need of plumbing-related assistance is eligible to use YPTP. You must be 18 or older to contract with a YPTP plumber. No. You can use YPTP as often as you need to. However, once you have submitted a specific quote request you cannot submit another quote request for that same project unless you
YPTP is a plumber referral service. We bring plumbers and customers together online. When you accept a plumber''s bid you contract directly with the plumber and you pay them directly for their services. The plumber whose bid you accept pays YPTP a referral fee for being matched with you. As the customer, you never pay to use YPTP''s service. All bids are based solely on the information provided by the customer. If you select a plumber based on that information, your contract is to fulfill that work at the price quoted. If you agree with the additional work your plumber suggests be performed, you may choose to renegotiate the job directly with the plumber. Or, if you prefer, you may submit an additional quote request through YPTP, in which case you may select that same plumber or a different plumber for that work. Yes. Even if you find a plumber you like through YPTP, you may not always get the best price from them. Bidding jobs through YPTP keeps the bidding process ''honest'' and ensures that you get the best possible price. YPTP definitely wants to hear about any problems or concerns you encounter with our plumber partners. In addition to rating your plumber experience, you can contact YPTP directly with any complaints. If we receive multiple complaints about a plumber we will suspend their membership. There is no contract term with YPTP. You can utilize our service as often as you need to. The only reason YPTP would suspend a customer's membership is if we received numerous complaints from an existing registered plumbers. We certainly hope that never occurs, but if you do need to remove yourself from the YPTP database, simply go into your account profile and delete the information. Disposal FAQs

This is typically a washer or cartridge issue. Washers need to be replace for a dual faucet or a cartridge for a single faucet. This is typically particles in your pipes obstructing the flow of water. This typically means warn washers or a cartridge replacement. As a fee-based referral service, YPTP charges you only when your bid is accepted by the customer. In other words, you don''t pay for exposure or the potential for business. You pay a set $25 referral fee when you actually win business through YPTP. Signing up is easy! Go to the Plumber Signup page. Click on the I have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions button. Fill in your company information. You'll receive an email notification from us that you are officially enrolled as a member. Any contractor that provides plumbing-related services can participate. However, you must be licensed and bonded in the state(s) you do business in. YPTP reserves the right to cancel your membership if your license lapses or expires. No. YPTP is strictly a referral site. We do not carry advertising. Listings on our site are free. The plumber pays for the referral. Once a customer accepts your bid, you will be charged a $25 referral fee. YPTP will send you an invoice vial email at the end of each week. The invoice covers all activity for the week. If you have one accepted bid during that week, your fee will be $25. If you have two accepted bids for the week, your fee will be $50, etc. YPTP accepts payment through our PayPal account. Payment is due within seven (7) days of invoicing. If you do not pay within seven (7) days your account is subject to suspension by YPTP and you will be charged a $50 reinstatement fee to continue receiving referrals through YPTP. The Plumber Signup form asks for your primary business ZIP code and allows you to select nine (9) additional ZIP Codes. If your geographic area is larger, you have the option to select more ZIP Codes, up to a total of 15 additional. You contract directly with the customer once the customer accepts your bid. The customer will be responsible for paying you directly once the services are rendered and complete. Yes, your bid is visible to the requesting customer, as well as other plumbers enrolled and the YPTP staff. You will be charged a $25 fee for each referral that comes to you through YPTP. If a customer hires you for one job then posts another job with YPTP and picks you again, you will be charged an additional $25 for the second job because it came through YPTP. Yes. At the conclusion of each job, YPTP asks our customers to rate the plumber's service followed by reviews . Customer ratings and reviews will appear on your plumber listing. Talk with your plumber to see what they recommend changing the bibb / faucet or replacing the unit . This may be an issue with the thermocouple. This is typically an issue with your thermostat or your thermocouple. Seeing rust color or particles in your hot water are signs of the water heater needing to be flushed.
